Who is HR Club?
HR Club is the association of human resources professionals in Romania. Our mission is to encourage the human resources development by supporting and promoting the best practices in the field. We intend to achieve this goal through consistent pursuit of four strategic objectives:
-
Professional development of our members and of the entire community of HR practitioners
-
Ensuring excellence in the HR field by setting up standards and certifications
-
Representing the HR community in the relationship with the key dialogue partners
-
Organizational development of HR Club on sound principles
HR Club currently has over 400 members representing about 300 multinational and Romanian companies with over 150,000 employees coming from all industries and the services sector. HR Club's membership is open to all professionals interested in their professional development in people management field, as well as in the Romanian HR market (read more about HR Club members).
HR Club’s activities are carried out by a young executive team, coordinated by a Board of Directors elected by the members of the association once every two years (read more about HR Club Team). Every year, we organize best practices seminars in Bucharest, Cluj and Timisoara, informal meetings, national conferences, summer schools for the next generation of HR specialists, gala awards for excellence in human resources and a series of meetings initiated by our members (read more about HR Club Events).
Also, during May 2009 - August 2010, HR Club is conducting a project called "Partnership for the development of the HR field" co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Sectoral Operational Program for Human Resources Development 2007 – 2013 under the number POSDRU/41/3.3/G/17900. The aim of this project is to create an online resources portal for Romanian HR professionals, to develop an HR best practices’ manual, to conduct a survey of strategic partnership with the business environment and to make several changes in the labor law, as well as in the relationship with state authorities, together with the social partners (read more about SOPHRD Project).
The association has four annual partners: Asebuss & Exec-Edu, Enovate, Regina Maria and Trend Consult Group (read more about HR Club Partners). Also, since 2007, HR Club is a member of the European Association for People Management (EAPM) and the World Federation of Personnel Management Associations (WFPMA).
