HR Leading Success Conference

In a moment of important society, economy and business priorities transformation - HR Club considers that the strategic role of the HR function is the key to organizational success.

The HR Leading Success Conference brings in the spotlight innovative models of HR management and the latest trends generated by the new business context. The event will start with an overview of the main macroeconomic indicators that will influence our decisions in 2012 and will continue with the results of the latest research study conducted by The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in collaboration with The European Association for People Management (EAPM). The study represents the main European HR management tool and highlights the priorities which will guide our actions in 2012.

We will then continue with specialists from Trompenaars Hampden - Turner who will share us innovative solutions for managing organizational challenges raised by the present economic context. The new tool of “Dilemma Reconciliation” has a significant impact primarily on HR management, with visible results in the overall functioning of the organization.

The HR Leading Success Conference will bring for the first time in Romania Henk den Deker - Trompenaars Hampden - Turner Partner and Pieter Haen - President of The European Association for People Management (EAPM).

Henk den Deker, Partner Trompenaars Hampden - Turner

"In present times it is about more than just a local HR function. HR Professionals need to ‘Connect Viewpoints’ in an increasingly international context. Instead of thinking in problems, the combination of Values through reconciliation of dilemmas is key to success. We will share our experience around the world and explain different dimensions as basis for our Dilemma Reconciliation methodology, the backbone of our work and essential for future business success."

Pieter Haen, President of The European Association for People Management (EAPM)

“Financial crisis, debt crisis, currency crisis: The intensified competition for financial capital and credit ratings is currently confronting companies and national economies with great short-term uncertainty, without a common concept of the necessary measures. Unlike in the finance department, however, the greatest challenges for HR managers are clear, quantifiable, and long-term. While finance ministers, bankers, and CFOs can hope for a calming of the capital markets, the already arising shortage of qualified employees and executives is a reality for HR managers for which there are no positive forecasts, only negative statistical facts. HR managers can and must face this challenge and find the best possible responses. If they succeed, this also increases the chances of realizing the longstanding aspiration of the HR function of taking over the role of strategic partner and enabler within the company. I will be happy to talk with you  about which priorities and measures HR managers are applying to prepare their organizations for the future"
