HR Club Internal Seminar: A New Perspective on the Strategic Partnership

Description of the event
The last seminar of the year focused on the strategic partnership between the HR function and the General Management. Our special guest, Laslo Diosi, CEO at OTP Bank shared us his vision about the role the HR department plays in setting and achieving the business objectives. We continued with three guests who had the opportunity to interact with several different business functions, making the transition either from the HR department to top management, or from other departments to HR. Adela Janse, Executive Director at BRD – Groupe Societe Generale and Monica Botocan, HR Leader at MSD Romania explained us how a strategic HR department can efficiently work together with other functions, as well as with the top management, to ensure the organization’s success.

40 HR Club members, but not only, attended this seminar - from companies such as Leo Burnett, Bank of Cyprus, Pfizer, Beiersdorf, Banca Transilvania. The audience included practitioners (50%), HR service providers (50%), media representatives and members of the HR Club executive team.
