HR Club Excellence Awards Gala, 3rd Edition

Description of the event
HR Club Excellence Award Gala is the most prestigious event of the year, the single one which awards excellence in HR projects and people management. Within the past two editions of this event we celebrated the best managers and the best HR initiatives and strategies, as well as the organizations where these projects were implemented. The 2011 HR Club Excellence Awards Gala was organized in 11 sections and hosted 150 of the most important organizations in Romania through their HR Directors, General Managers and Line Managers.

3. Romania's nominee at European HR Award 2011: Monica Vijeu, HR Director, JT International Romania
The jury consisted of HR practitioners, representatives of the academic environment and media representatives.
The criteria of the evaluation for the Human Resources Management Projects section focused on the business impact of the projects, given that the HR function should contribute to the business success, as well as on the innovative and replicable nature of the projects.
For the General Manager of the Year section, the jury evaluated their leadership skills, their constant interest for people management issues and their ability of involving the HR function in the development of the business strategy.
For the Line Managers section, the jury evaluated their concern for the personal development of their subordinates and their cooperation with the HR department for implementing processes to develop their team.
The Entrepreneurship section focused on behaviours that proved their understanding that it is people who deliver results and who significantly contributed to the improvement of the HR processes in their own organization.
